External Services at Aldercourt
Aldercourt Primary School is more than a school — it is a hub for our whole community. We work in partnership with a number of external organisations who provide health, wellbeing, early learning and family support services on site or close by.
These services are here for every family in Frankston North, not just those with children currently enrolled at Aldercourt. Most are free or low cost, and having them based locally means less travel and fewer barriers to getting support.

Our Partner Services
Aldercourt Kindergarten — Child and Family Centre
Aldercourt Child and Family Centre sits on our school grounds and offers three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs, managed by Community Kinders Plus. Being on the same site means children get to know our staff, our grounds and our routines long before they start Foundation — making the move into school a familiar and confident one.
- Three-year-old and four-year-old funded kindergarten programs

Enrolment is managed centrally by Frankston City Council.
Our Place
Our Place works alongside Aldercourt Primary School to bring education, health, adult learning and community services together in one place. The team helps connect families with the support they need, runs playgroups and parent programs, and creates opportunities for families to learn, volunteer and take part in school and community life.
- Supported playgroups, including a Young Parents playgroup and a baby group
- Adult education, training and volunteering pathways
- Help navigating and connecting to local services
- Community groups and events, including the adult sewing group

Peninsula Health — Health Hub
Peninsula Health runs a Health Hub on site at Aldercourt, with two purpose-built consulting rooms available for appointments. It offers allied health support for children as well as help getting connected to wider community health services, close to home.
- Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy for children
- The Peninsula Health Access Team, to help you find the right service
- Referrals to community health, dental and family services
Appointments are booked in advance, and the consulting rooms are staffed when sessions are scheduled. The Hub is open to the whole Frankston North community, including families from Aldercourt Kindergarten, Mahogany Rise and Monterey Secondary College.

The Smith Family
The Smith Family is a children's education charity that helps students experiencing disadvantage to get the most out of their schooling. Their Learning for Life program provides practical financial help alongside personal support, so that cost is never the reason a child misses out.
- Financial assistance towards uniforms, books, excursions, extracurricular activities and other school essentials
- A Family Partnerships Coordinator who works with the family and the school
- Mentoring, literacy, numeracy and digital learning programs
- Support that continues through primary, secondary and beyond

HIPPY — Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters
HIPPY is a free, two-year home-based early learning program that supports parents and carers to be their child's first teacher. Delivered locally in Frankston North by the Brotherhood of St Laurence, it builds confidence at home and helps children arrive at school ready to learn.
- Activity packs that take just 10–15 minutes a day
- Fortnightly home visits from a trained local Home Tutor
- Monthly group gatherings with other families in Frankston North
- Paid training and employment pathways for parents as Peer Mentors
